After a long, and actually unplanned hiatus, I am pleased to announce that I am back and posting my work again.

The last few months have been their fair share of stressful and my photography has unfortunately been the last thing on my mind. Things are now back on track and I have a few new and exciting projects that I hope to share with you all very, very soon! Once the prints for them have arrived anyway!

Thank you to everyone for sticking with me, and especially to those who have sent kind messages saying they missed seeing my photographs – it means a lot!

For anyone that decided to follow my 365project last year, here is a link to my brand new and up-to-date project, for 2013!

Love The Land Competition

It’s been a while since I last posted an update, but I am logging in to let you all know that I have received an email today, informing me that I have placed as a runner up in the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty photographic competition – Love The Land.

I’m really pleased as it’s the first competition I’ve entered in ages! You can check out the winner and other runner up by visiting the AONB wesbite!

Owen Lister Music

I did a very quick shoot with the talented Owen Lister last Tuesday! I try not to be biased but he is very good! You can check out his new promo shot in my Portraiture gallery, and I also highly recommend that you head over toOwen’s Facebook page and have a listen to some of his work!

New Transport Gallery!

I attended the Tiverton Balloon Festival at the weekend and managed to get some photographs that I am quite pleased with! However, I was lacking in an appropriate gallery, so I am pleased to open my new TRANSPORT gallery to you all! More to come in the next few weeks, because I will be going to the Goodwood Revival on the 14th September – very exciting! Keep your eyes peeled!

Osmington Craft Fayre

I’ve just confirmed that I will be having a table at next months Osmington Craft Fayre, which will be on the 18th August between 1-3pm. You’ll find me with a large selection of greetings cards and maybe some prints!

You can keep up to date with the details of the event on the Fayre’s Facebook Page, or on my own page, here!

New SLP Blog

Not only do I have 40 designs now listed in my shop but I also have a brand new blog to share with you all!

Thanks to the lovely support from people on Facebook, I have decided to put together a blog for my photography. Not to replace this place, of course, but to give me somewhere I can talk about the photos I’m uploading, and generally chat a bit more about plans and stuff!

I hope you like it. It’s still in the early stages but, regardless, enjoy!

New Items

I’ve just listed some new items in my shop! There are now a total of 22 designs available online, with more to come in the next few days! Check out my shop here.

Also, head over to my Facebook page to blag yourself a 15% discount code!

The Burlesque Graduate

I’ve had a photograph published by Redbrick, the student paper for the University of Birmingham.

The article features an interview with Rebecca (aka. Carman Havalook) and discusses her journey since graduating from university last year. You can find the whole interview here. Definitely worth a read!

Congratulations to Jackie, who won not one, but two signed prints today (That Weekend Feeling and Rebirth) at the Great Sturminster Cake and Bake Sale, which was hosted today in Sturminster Newton.

The event raised £361 for Sport Relief; a very worthy cause. Thank you for everyone that turned up! Sorry I couldn’t make it.
